Just a comment - I think it's a mistake to refer to YHOO, LCOS and XCIT as "search engines" now. The market perceives them as budding media companies. They are information providers who use the Net instead of TV, radio or newsprint. That's why so much money is thrown their way. Investors believe that each pair of eyeballs they draw to a page is worth something.

Ultimately, getting someone to buy a CD, cruise ticket or the latest video card is more important than finding the right reference to ancient Rome for a term paper.

I don't have a position either way in any of these companies. I don't think they will fall until the competition and low barriers to entry start to squeeze some of them out, probably later this year.
