IRF has had very little correlation with the overall market in the past and I don't think it will necessarily break even if the major averages correct. There's no way to tell if the overall market will correct anyway. I actually look at it with a contrarian point of view: IRF has a much lower valuation than many other stocks and may actually go up during a market correction as money rotates out of stocks with higher valuations. One thing to keep in mind is that money rotates during a correction and leaves the market during a bear market. I don't think the conditions are in place for an outright bear market and stocks like IRF that have taken big hits and are trading near support could very well outperform the market averages in the near term.
