Don, a little radical thinking is in order... also, I hope my expression is well taken.. you know that I feel your market calls are excellent. Lets look at the market through a different set of eyes.. just as an exercise.

We've been looking at the patient through past history, through occilators, percentage moves, cash, bonds, etc.. In all these measures we are high and due for a turn in the averages, yet arguments can be made for the market to continue with only minor pullbacks.

What I propose is that the market is an expression of best opportunity, that is it goes up because the greatest vacuum to making a profit it in that direction. What would be the circumstance to the market having a vacuum which needs to be filled underneath its current trend? For purposes of imagining what I'm suggesting, a wing flies not because its supported by air pressure underneath but because the increased speed of the air passing over the longer distance of the curved top surface creates a vacuum which draws the wing/plane up. Get the picture?
