The company is still looking for that lucky person to lead the marketing effort for medical applications, Medical Segment Marketing Manager. There is an ad in the Seattle Times - first time that I've seen the company advertise locally for employment. See the following link, it's a long document, so be sure to pan down approx. 3/4 of the way: seatimes.com Of particular interest is the mention (in the ad) of "high performance visual displays, image scanners, and related products." The VRD scanner was mentioned on an earlier post to be versatile in it's use and that it could be use to collect a signal as well as output one. It's also mentioned in the company annual report that the "MRS (mechanical resonant scanner) may have significant commercial value independent of the VRD." Any thoughts on the use and application of the scanner? I believe the scanner could for example, be used for reading bar code. But there must be many others, an explanation in "non-tech" language would be greatly appreciated.
