Nancy please forgive my lack of knowledge in the scriptures for I am merely a father that has to explain the teachings of the church to a 9 year old daughter and my other children. Since you mentioned angels I wonder if Jesus would cause such a ruckus what would angels do.

Here is the Preface to my Angel Years book so others may somehow figure out just who I am ...

"While writing my stories, my precious daughter, Dell, loves to read as I am creating. Becoming extremely curious, she wanted to know about Angels and how they differ from Earth Angels. I tried to explain that Angels are a creation of God, and Earth Angels are the truly good people God placed on Earth. As you well know, what the Bible portrays versus the influence of television would take a lifetime to explain to a seven year old.
Instead, I took her in my lap and created a little Angel in heaven with her name. Creating this last story was to show that God could possibly reward those who live by his teachings and doing his work here on earth, with wings and a halo in heaven. While she listened she asked, "Would God still be able to hear her, since she was so small?" This led me to include in the story that God hears all regardless of size, on earth as in heaven.
I hope Dell understands the meanings of the word "Angel" after reading these stories, which are based in part on biblical fact and blended with a Father's explaination."

Now whether my beliefs and what I am teaching my daughter can be supported by biblical scriptures I do not know. I try never to impose my belief on her either I merely teach and guide. To date rarely does anyone know my deep seeded belief and faith I have with any component of the Divine Trinity. My responsiblity is to teach the word of God as I was taught and not impose my belief on her. This will allow her to establish her own belief based on teachings not on the interpretation of what I or others have which may very well influence her belief. Individuality is what spreads the word of God for it sparks intelligent communication and questions.

Am I wrong in this idealism? Probably but that is how I see my parental responsibility.

Happy Easter
