Louie, Incredible news - from both a technical standpoint and the way it was released. If effective (and I assume it is since IBM is going to sell it) will really allow IBM and Ancor to build an effective end to end solution. Will be contingent of course on GE penetration of the LAN - but this is a product that there is a clear market for - and there is no hint that others are developing a competing product. "As for Ancor, the firm will be announcing a product that lets users tie Fibre Channel products to a Gigabit Ethernet backbone." Let's see this announcement and soon. George D.
