Sunday April 12, 12:28 pm Eastern Time First Virtual files for 2.4 mln shr offer SANTA CLARA, Calif., April 12 (Reuters) - First Virtual Corp said on Friday that it has filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission covering an initial public offering of 2.4 million shares of common stock with an estimated price range of $12.00 to $14.00 per share. First Virtual said that 2.22 million shares are being offered by the company and 180,000 shares are being offered by selling stockholders. The company has granted the underwriters an option to purchase an additional 360,000 shares to cover over-allotments, if any. The offering is being made through an underwriting group managed by BancAmerica Robertson Stephens, Bear Stearns & Co Inc and Hambrecht & Quist.
