Air Canada (TSE:AC) still seeks ValuJet (NASDAQ:VJET) deal Reuters, Tuesday, October 29, 1996 at 15:20 MONTREAL, Oct 29 (Reuter) - Air Canada president and chief executive officer Lamar Durrett said on Tuesday that the airline remains interested in obtaining a contract for the maintenance of ValuJet Inc's DC-9 aircraft. "We are interested in that contract," Durrett told reporters after a luncheon speech. He said Air Canada had had recent discussions with Atlanta-based ValuJet regarding the maintenance contract but that no announcement was imminent.
