*MEG Morsel Alert*

In Donald Sheldon's Thurs. aft. talk, he offered more very intriguing information that I am sure John Auston would pounce on with a comment like, "It's too soon to make such an assertion!", as would many others. Nonetheless, it was certainly fodder to ruminate. This very juicy morsel follows.

Sheldon postulated that to date, they (Ashton et al.) have been getting clear, white stones from their samples consistently. Sheldon said that stones recovered have been of gem quality about 70%-75% of the time. ( ! )
DS went on to say that this suggests a 60%-65% end gem quality rate.

Sheldon also said extraction costs in AB are estimated to be around $13-$15/tonne, referencing the obvious low value/tonne cutoffs.

more to come!
