Alan,

Two months ago, I would have agreed with you 100%. After losing the Sun deal, I am still skeptical until the ink is dried on the contract. Based on some previous posts, I'm not the only one that thought that ANCR might be headed to $4 after Sun.

I have also heard a rumor (single source, not AR <g>) that IBM's OEM business will likely go to Brocade. That sure seems to contradict the IBM news from today. The only possible explanation that I can think of to explain the apparent discrepancy is that IBM Global Services will be a reseller of Ancor products, even if the IBM OEM deal goes elsewhere. Maybe there will be more than one OEM deal. IBM is certainly big enough to have plenty of FC business to go around. It would be helpful to know how many Fibre Channel divisions there are within IBM. Until then, I remain confused. <g>

Some new product announcements would be nice, but I'd still like to see Ancor start putting up some REAL numbers from existing products to take the sting out of Q1.

Craig
