August, let me take time to post how a thread gets listed in the Hot Subject list. It could be helpful for those lurking or just click away. Below is what I copied at the bottom of the Hot Subject list as August mentioned. "Score is calculated from a trend analysis formula of bookmarks and posting activity. The percentage score is roughly the increase in posting activity and bookmarking in the last 24 hours (vs. the last 7 days)." This shows how many people are bookmarking this thread or just lurking without posting.
