Colin, My hat is off to you. You lost me here. What do you mean by "the box"? Also, any chance of getting a short and simple explanation of the LEGAL differences. Thanks. A little slow, DAVE ----------------- IMO, there is little practical difference if a professional short happens to be registered as a Market Maker himself personally, or if he has an associate relationship with a registered Market Maker. I believe if you look at "the box" for DCTC you will see the associate Market Maker involved here. There are LEGAL differences, some of which may favour a non-MM shorter... Colin
