Jack, Glad to have you stop by for a visit. I missed both of Clinton's inaugurations, I have a low pain threshold. I agree with MtnBear's last post, either Clinton or somebody very powerful may have access to a skeleton in Mr. Greenspan's closet. This person or these people would then have him in their hip pocket. A newsletter that I receive has described a quid pro quo agreement between Greenspan and Clinton made early in Clinton's first term when Greenspan's re-appointment came due. Supposedly Greenspan agreed to a loose monetary policy if he was re-appointed.
