Hi Christine,
Thank you for that post. When we have so many problems with kids in our society today we have to say there is something wrong. If a parent lacks the wisdom and skill to parent without spanking and society forces it on them I think we create a very bad situation of neglect. Better to spank than to ignore. Lots of love with strong guidance is needed no matter what the education is. So many Americans that are well educated are on their multiple marriage with a combination of kids and it is a major challenge that I could not survive. It is all complicated and unless the child is being badly beaten everyone should let the parent do the best they can and support them whenever possible by loving children and being a good example in the community as well.
