You talk about moderation, but your moderation is complete capitulation. That is not a balanced look at the issue. In your mind NO child should ever be spanked. Some children, as well as teenagers, need a spanking to straighten them out. I certainly hope mine never do, but you never can tell. I certainly am not going to be akin to some religios like belief system, which says spanking is child abuse and not use it if I see fit. As I've said many times before, there is a BIG difference between an occcasional spanking and child abuse. How on earth you can not see that one is beyond my comprehension. Michael
