Dan,

After reviewing my own portfolios in preparation for April 15, the answer is no. Not when when you consider the time needed to make the system work. Its fun if you like the challenge of finding and selecting stocks as PB is a fairly good filter. The problem is the lack of simplicity depicted in the manual. Its not that simple.

I've track PB since 1/5/98, (last year as well). My return is about 9% this calender year. Ed, has posted returns of about 13%. Ed has the more accurate numbers as he has followed the system to the letter. Realtime returns are probably somewhere between. Still this lags the averages for which no effort is expended. We could have ridden BRKa and doubled our money and had Mr. Buffet do the driving.

Just my opinion.

If your funds are producing the returns you've mentioned and you would like to do better, then margin them and enjoy your free time.

Ralph
