Newmoon - Not a Direct Threat IMHO
Citrix allows universal application access from virtually any platform with (almost) bandwidth independent performance. Newmoon can't begin to make the same claims.

However, the bigger issue is TCO. Total Cost of Ownership is the underlying reason the Thin Client technologies are an evolutionary change to the industry. A major component to lowering the TCO comes in reduced desktop maintenance and support. Newmoon still employs a traditional PC at the desktop running Windows and this configuration invites desktop support and maintenance. In order to drastically reduce the TCO you need to eliminate the hard disk and the "fat" operating system from the desktop.

I think Liftoff is a product that is going to have a difficult time finding a market. It's not cheap and it's not very "thin". If your trying to save money you would probably either stay with traditional PCs and use a combination of SMS and ZAK, or if you want to go cheap and thin you would deploy Hydra/WTS and try to get away with RDP only. Finally, if you've got the money to go with Newmoon then you would go with MetaFrame and get a much more robust and feature rich product.

Newmoon's Booster product may have a market but I have not studied it too closely yet. On the surface this product seems to complement Citrix rather than compete with it.
