Mazman, I learned quickly that if I sent a long and thorough e-mail to either my brothers or someone else, I would often get a one or two line response. It sometimes feels like a waste of time to me, as I do give thought and consideration to every e-mail. I enjoy this thread because most people take time and write detailed responses to messages. It is certainly refreshing and generally not the norm.
