This is not really an in-market merger.

Cost take-outs more likely at the duplicate business unit level like the brokerage units,Capital Markets, Commercial Lending Product lines etc.

Wonder where the center of the bank will be?

Now all they need is a New York Money Center bank to finish the picture.
