I've got the packet from Datek but have been hesitant in signing up due to reports of Datek "being down" on #daytraders channel. I am also looking at MB Trader as well as Live Trade. Suretrade has been taking approx. 5 min to even get the trade through to them. Then I'm looking at approx another 5-10 min before execution. Very frustrating for me trying to "daytrade". On the plus side, they've always have had the stocks available for shorting when I've gone that route whereas other brokers have been reported to not have. Hope this information is of some use to you. I really appreciate all your posts here on SI. They've been a tremendous help to me. Barney
