Training engineers costs money, something Billy Boy would not like to spend money on. I was never formally trained on Win 95 or NT when I was there. (I was a NetWare expert at the time.) I ran out and bought a book (out of my own pocket!), read the book enough to get the genaral idea of what the system does, then used the book as a reference when I need guidance and my intuition has ran out of options. It's essentially how I survived as long as I have at this company. (1 and 1/4 years, if you are curious....Actually, I could have stay there at least another 3 months, but I had a MUCH better job offer.) It makes sense, in a way, if you want to make the numbers, to do what it takes. Cheers, Joanna
