Christine, I am afraid we will never see eye to eye on Fonda or Turner, I know you are always willing to listen to someone's "feelings", so bear with me as I jump in uninvited on the Fonda thing. I was on active duty with the military during the Viet Nam conflict, and although I had mixed feelings about whether or not we should have been there, I was willing to go had I received the order. (Retrospectively I now think we should not have been there, but that's another story.) There were many who disagreed with their country's policy on the VietNam conflict. They protested, which is their right. But when Jane Fonda travelled to the country with which we were at (yes, undeclared) war and gave comfort and encouragement to the ones who were torturing our prisoners, that went beyond protest and should properly be described as treasonous behavior. Yes I agree that she was indeed a traitor. Our own misbehavior including the My Lai travesty is a different issue, and worthy of discussion as well. Jack
