I have Win '98 (beta 3) - for the casual user, the differences are strictly cosmetic. Most of the time, I forget I have '98 installed.

Performance seems to be slightly faster - I heard that's because they cleaned up the code from '95. Also, there are some extremely minor improvements in the graphics. It will also support Fat32 - which uses disk space a little more efficiently than the older file system.

In other words - don't expect much from the Win '98 release.
