Does this mean that that each network,i.e. Sprint, Airtouch or anybody else, will have have to have seamless networks of their own in order to provide data delivery? I assume there will be 800/1900 mhz phones?
On a similar tangent, I don't understand why the Japanese would choose IS-95 as a first gen. "standard", and then opt for non backward compatible Erics. W-CDMA subsequently, unless of course what we usually think of as a standard is not really a standard after all....Dave
