JDN: I believe the stock would be weak on the announcement of a secondary but would recover during the roadshow as the story gets out to institutional investors. Of course, this depends on the price of the stock at the time of any secondary: If the stock is still in the high teens and analysts are using a $1.50+ estimate for '98 eps, the stock moves strongly during the roadshow; if the stock is in the $30s, the deal would most likely price lower than where the stock traded pre-announcement.
Pure speculation on both our parts, anyway. Good luck until then.
