DFW Airport in Dallas is one of the worst coverage areas for Sprint PCS in the Dallas metroplex. You weren't encountering a problem with the Q handset.

BTW, my Q went defective and I went into Sprint to have them download my phone numbers, so I could get a new one through Radio Shack on the warranty. Sprint was really nice; they just gave me a new one. Took about five minutes; phone numbers and all my input transferred, including the number of minutes I have racked up this month. It is such a pleasure not to have to re-input all my phone numbers, again. I wish we could get the software for the PC; that way we could quickly input the numbers on the PC and transfer to the phone. At some point it is going to be available, I think, because the company showed a laptop talking to the phones at the September show in Dallas.

Now, if the company will get a new mechanism to attach the phone holder to your belt loop and something for your pants (I usually wear suspenders), so the unit won't fall off on its own. I have previously emailed QCOM about the problem. Too bad I couldn't get the new Q as a replacement, which has no antenna, if I understand correctly.
