morning market notes: yesterday 2 senior VP's resigned - unrelated to each other. Dave House (Enterprise SErver Group) joined BAY as its CEO (already known and BAY rallied on it yesterday). Carl Everett (co-head of Desktop PRoducts) left for personal reasons. Goldman predicts nothing disruptive to INTC really. also - i believe MMX delays were due to PPro demand - to ramp production for PPros... the shortage is both good and bad i think. anyone have a guage of effects on INTC and CYRX and AMD? positive news on AMD's K6. analysts rec. a buy today. CPU rec'd a strong buy by many houses too (First boston, UBS, Morgan Stanley (and others) analysts also said that DRAM prices looking ugly - so sell rec. on MU and TXN.
