Restricted shares are restricted shares. The only way that these securities can become free trading is under Reg S and there is no way that the company will allow that. Secondly, if these shares were tendered for a buy out and issued under rule 144, I do not care if you live in Samoa, 144 is 144 in the US. They are to be held for 1 year. Period. The US transfer agent will notify the company and it is at the COMPANIES discresion to release the restriction not the owner of the securities. SHORT IS THE WORD and SHORTS need to be delivered against or covered. Would you give up a million dollars to help a friend knowing the friend is a pain in the rear side and has no one in mind but themselves.
