Ratan, Those premiums usually get stripped big time in this week and that's why I try to avoid those narrrow time frames. I can see your point on the short time frame charts.But look at daily up to weekly charts to try and follow the overall trend.As of last Thurs.,I can't see the trend changing.Today's action so far is not good...but does anyone really know how to factor in expiry week.Some, I think,pretty much ignore the moves during options expiry.Guess I am not much help.IF I buy May puts I will try and wait and see how this week plays out...lots of earnings out soon.Hope we have an up week...then those premiums won't kill you.I think David is right about a down then up,but The "whens" are the kickers.
