I'm wondering:

--What if BankAmerica/Nationsbank now believes it is large enough to reach economies of scale with an in-house billpay/e-bill system?

The BankAmerica CEO said at the news conference just a few minutes ago that the merged bank intends to be a pioneer in electronic funds transfer.
