Vapor! left out in the cold! Yes, once again the industry has laughed off Iomega's unreliable and power-hungry Vapor! drive. The major players in digital photography (Kodak, Flashpoint's new "Digita" camera OS, Motorola, Sandisk, etc.) got together recently to form an industry standard, and left Iomega completely out! Check it out: biz.yahoo.com SanDisk's support for CompactFlash is built into FlashPoint's Digita operating environment, the only removable storage card with that distinction. SanDisk invented CompactFlash, and during the last two years it has become the global standard for digital film. More than 20 camera manufacturers have designed it into 36 new digital cameras that have been introduced into the market. SanDisk foresees a bright future for Digita and believes that it has the potential to become an industry standard in digital cameras just as CompactFlash has become a standard.
