Stockman... Most routers at the edge of the LAN/WAN will. However for the core backbone ASIC based L3 switching, suffices. That is why even Cisco is thinking about a L3 switch (what a joke, after denying its viability all this time). You've got a problem with a company - even one as large as Cisco - steering their business based upon market factors or is it that you've simply got a problem with Cisco as a company? Gary
