Patrick: The fundamentals have changed. The article puts TAVA in front of an elite audience. A lot of CEOs read the magazine. A lot of CEOs with a lot of factories with a lot of sick stomachs. And not just in front of them, but right in their faces: Fortune practically endorsed TAVA. That's almost unprecedented.

Fundamental fact: Awareness of the "embedded" problem has lagged. The sooner this part of the y2k market wakes up, the better for TAVA.

Second, in the stock market we're always working with an incomplete picture. Extra information can bolster (me) or undermine (you) that picture. Efficient pricing of an equity always involves an analysis of uncertainty. I am more certain of my long position now, and you, sir, should be less certain about yours.

Or perhaps you can explain how "One of the most imaginative and useful approaches" (Fortune Magazine on Plant Y2kOne software) can "be reinvented by any half-decent consultant in a day or two according to standard project management/problem solving principles" (you, talking out of the wrong side of your shorts).

Wade

PS: Hint - It looks silly to come here now telling us you covered 60% of your short position last week. BS. Why'd ya do it? Fundamentals hadn't changed.
