To All,

1.7 million of the 7.8 million shares outstanding of the company are reported short (21.8%). In the long history of bulls vs. bears, there has been many a valiant effort to squeeze the shorts by transferring stock to cash accounts or by requesting certificates. While I'm sure that it may have worked in at least one instance that I'm not aware of, I have never actually witnessed it. As a matter of fact, every time that shareholders have threatened to call in their shares, the stocks have proceeded to fall into oblivion. Examples: Future Communications (NASDAQ: FCMI), and Alter Sales (NASDAQ: ASCI). Of course these are a little hard to remember because they were frauds and do not exist anymore. How about a little more recent example: Incomnet (NASDAQ: ICNT) is still around although it fell from 24 to 4.
My question here would be does MatriDigm really have the technology? If they do, let the shorts drive the stock down, one can buy twice as many shares at 20 than at 40 and make twice as much money. Why does everyone insist on being right rather than to figure out how to profit? Isn't that why we're in the market? If one wants to be right, join the republican party.
