Mr. Wang, My apology to your question about Alpha machines. I only use my machine to write C and C++ programs, Speed is by far better than any PC I have used. I am not an slave of programs going through the FX32; therefore, I am a wrong person to evaluate the emulation programs. Originality is the name of the game, and I frankly don't care who says what about DEC machines. I have found them useful and reliable. Science has benefited from the competition.
