hal--

its not a huge difference when you consider that BEL services more customers in metro areas from its COs than GTE. remember that BEL thinks that it will have close to 1 million subscribers by EOY 98.

i sold a little of my orctf today, it just didnt pop. i guess it was another case of buy the rumor, sell the news.

you have to remember one thing though, we dont know the details of the contract. it looks to me like the CO side is going mostly to fujitsu. remember that the integrator has to be cut in as well, so potential profits from the deal may not be as rich as we think.

still, from my perspective it is a monster deal and i am very pleased with it. a year ago i felt that AMTX and WSTL would own the market. now i think WSTL and ORCTF will. funny how things change. makes you wonder if maybe ORCTF and WSTL are soon to be one.

good luck to all,
trey
