"...Who will take them over?..." Possibly no one. IBM, Microsoft, and Sun -- vendors of network operating system software -- could avoid paying billions for Novell yet still capture the market by waiting for Novell to self-destruct. Why pay billions today when you could have the customers and the market for free if you wait a few years? Today's low: 8 3/4. And the day's not over yet... Unbelievable, isn't it?
