Tim,

I don't think CK was implying that your shouldn't post out here or that your comments were overly tainted. We each have our perspective on handling our investments, thats all.

CK is long-term through 1998 where she will likely assess where the overall market stands with regard to Y2K readiness. All stocks may suffer if the Securities Industry can't guarantee liquidity in the general marketplace at the end of 1999. I happen to agree with her on this.

From your comments you are a trader and have a far shorter horizon. I'm a little of both. I hold long-term and I also position trade over a period of weeks or months. TAVA is a stock that I feel very comfortable with through 1998 regardless of the volatility inherent in the stock. And I welcome your comments out here so long as there are no attempts of instill unsubstantiated fear in readers of this thread. Your experience and inside understanding of the market place is refreshing and informative.

Personally, I think I understand where you are coming from with your comments. This latest bull run is getting long in the tooth and mutual fund monies are being reported at dangerous lows. Bull/Bear sentiment is distinctly in favor of the bulls now as the bears are throwing in the towel and going long. (For newbies that is why B/B sentiment is so important. It means the shorts are tired of losing money and are now on the bullish side hoping to make money as longs.)

There will be an overall market correction and the longer it is delayed the worse it will likely be. That will impact all stocks, including TAVA. However, it will also mean that a lot of money will be looking for story stocks to re-enter into. Stocks that will likely make money regardless of Asian problems, deflation, negative consumer sentiment. One of those stocks will be TAVA as it is virtually assured to be making money throughout 1999 and likely far beyond. (And if the defecation hits the rotary oscillator, that may stand in stark contrast to many other stocks)

Credible, solid, niche-holding Y2K stocks ARE a defensive sector, although the market may be slow to come to that realization.

Just my humble opinion, Tim. And thanks for the platform. I'll step down now... :0)

Regards,

Ron
