A little note regarding the 35 mill digital cell phones they are projecting for year 2000. I too think this projection is somewhat too high. Those phones are so called the smart phones (more than just a phone function) and right now there is only one on the US market which is NOKIA9000 and the price tag $999.

By the end of the year, there are more coming out from NOKIA for the Europian market, also from Ericsson, Mitsubishi, and maybe NEC. There could be more coming ou that I don't know of, but the whole point is that this kind of phone will not be available until well into 1999. Now I find it difficult to see the market mushroom from nothing to 35 mill units within 2 years!!

This past year I believe 100 mill phone were shipped, and the 230 mill unit by year 2000 is somewhat questionable in my view. There could be that many users but not that many units sold. Hope I am wrong.

I thing the LCaD could have good prospects especially with the all talked about PDA's.

I am satisfied with TFS's future but I don't want to overbuild expectation to a point I am always disatisfied.

N.O., you mentioned you are meeting with Ms Sharp, my question is to her if you don't mind: is TFS in talks with other major phone companies like NOKIA, Ericsson--- and my next question is about the fluctuation in revenue, it is better to smooth out the numbers (even if they have to withhold unreported revenue) than to jump back and forth with revenue. Predictability has a factor in the P/E ratio the street is willing to pay for a company (you know all that--)

N.S.
