SEC LAW VIOLATOR The new SEC laws regarding rumors was drafted to prevent exactly this type of thing from happening. Hello. A friend I have who works for a small software company said he knows somebody who told him that Microsoft is interested in Ascend and will soon make a bid. I'm really skeptical and wondering if anyone has heard the same. He said that Microsoft wants their switching business which is going great as more people utilize the internet. He also said Microsoft wants their programmers that Ascend retained after they bought Stonybrook Software on Long Isalnd. I don't know if this is true but it's sounds great and I would love to make some dough if he's correct. Anyone have a comment. This is an example of what not to do on a message board. If Mr. thebeach does not print a public retraction and post a public apology, you will probably be reading about him in the stock papers soon. I am going to turn him into the Securities and Exchange Commission. He later posts that he has bought call option and sold puts ( motive ) He is in big trouble unless he posts a public apology and retraction. Jeff
