JimA: I'll keep my orders in at $8 and $8 1/2 and sell everything between $9 - $10. The fact that it went below $9 today tells me that
this isn't the only time we will see it trade in the $8 range.

The earnings report in my opinion will be dismal and the analysts are not taking any chances. Who knows, maybe we will see $6 1/2 - $7 if they continue to spend from that $1 billion cash hoard which rightfully belongs to all of us on this board.

Is NOVL the next Borland ? Could be, but we won't be certain until late next year. The bleeding continues in the meantime.

(Currently I own less than 800 shares but it hurts anyway to think that this once mighty leader has come to the level of a speculative company whose future is unclear).

V.K

P.S I have been monitoring the health sector for a while and it is off about 15% since June/96. Clintons health plan proposal is driving down these stock prices and I am wondering if now may be a good time to get in. Any comments on this sector ?
