What do you think of that ORCTF/GTE deal? I would have thought that ORCTF would have popped better than it has. Also, I thought Amati (now WSTL) had this wrapped up?

Orckit has the first roll-out but there's been nothing reported on what size their contract is. The San Jose Mercury said it was in trial quantities.

Amati's technology is available to WSTL through TXN, as it is to anyone else who wants to buy it. As for anyone having the contract sewn up, the only company I thought might get it was CSCO and when they bought NetScape I realized something had gone seriously wrong with their Dagaz solution.

Lots of surprises yet to come, I'm certain.
