TCI debt is no longer junk bond status:

biz.yahoo.com

Here's a critical part:

"The current upgrade is more than simply symbolic, said Schutzman. He expected the National Association of Insurance Commissions to shortly follow Moody's cue by raising its rating for TCI to NAIC-2 from NAIC-3.

That could open up the investor universe for TCI debt even further. ''People who stayed away from (TCI) all these months, may come back in now,'' he said.

Calls to the NAIC were not immediately returned.

TCI 8 3/4 percent notes of '15 tightened two basis points to a bid spread of 113 basis points over Treasuries in reaction to the news, traders said.

They noted the market had already priced in the upgrade."

Given that last comment I suspect that we will not see much upward movement. Again, I am long on this because of the time it will take for the new products to mature in the market (WHERE'S MY CABLEMODEM?!?!). The six year number seems as good a ballpark figure as any.
