The editors chose to recognize DiviCom's recently-introduced MediaView(tm) MV40 program encoder for its "lookahead" statistical multiplexing feature as the best new product in its class. This is great news! This shows that Divi is in a great position to capitalize in this growing market. The technological capabilities of the company IS their greatest asset and the pivotal one in deciding who wins out in this market place (not the size of the company). From all the posts we've been seeing, CUBE is spending on R&D which is a critical measure for winning out in this race. The "statistical multiplexing lookahead" capabilities gives CUBE a value add feature that the market will adopt. The low price points for their decoders is critical for the mass market. The next few months will be very interesting!
