This all reminds me of a story I heard a few years ago about attempts to program computers to translate Russian. After the program was completed, the programmers decided to have run the Bible through the program to see how successful it would be. Anyway, the Russian version 'The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak' was translated 'The vodka is good, but the meat is lousy'. :)
