NORANDA AND DUPONT ANNOUNCE JOINT VENTURE

TORONTO / WILMINGTON, Delaware, April 14 /CNW/ - DuPont and Noranda Inc.
announced today that they have signed an agreement, subject to Board approval,
to form Noranda DuPont LLC, a 50/50 joint venture to market, transport and
