Dear Customers,

Yesterday afternoon, we had technical problems that prevented us from processing our NASDAQ and listed orders for approximately a half an hour. There were some comments on this thread that Datek Online was able to profit from this situation. That is absolutely untrue. We are in the business of providing a brokerage service to our customers. Our goal has always been to have the highest standards of performance at the lowest cost. When we suffer a technical problem, not only do we not make money but we also don't meet the expectations that we set for ourselves.

Please accept our apologies for the recent outage. As always, we are constantly working to improve our service. Hopefully, there won't be a problem like this in the future.
