Billy G: You reminded me of something. Nikkei reported a few weeks back that Nikon's sales for FY 1999 will fall only by 3% thanks to growing sales of high priced steppers using excimer lasers. But its pretax profits are seen to fall by 29% to 5 billion yen because of the higher production costs of excimer lasers. Interesting.
