Solid - She has unfolded her majestic wings and jumped, weightless into the void. Catching the winds in the umbrella of her feathered arms she drifts effortlessly higher on the warm swelling of an updraft. She dances in the sky in graceful loops, painting circles in the heavens watching the frantic bustle below. A trader glances upward toward the sky and catches his breath at the sensuous beauty of her motion. Etching timeless patterns on an endless blue palette. He loses focus and misses the 40,000 share buy order that splashes across the screen at 18 7/8. A flurry of trades pushes it over 19. He grunts in frustration trying to push away the images floating in his mind. But it is no use.... He could be with the eagles. Soaring in the heavens with the wind roaring in his ears. What earthly delights on the planet hold any meaning to this weightless exhilaration? Why did he hesitate? Time is too slow for those that feel and time is too fast for those who wait and time is too short for those that laugh.... vincenzo
