You may have hit the nail on the head with your theory, that BANX is using their investment in CAWS to throttle back, and eliminate, the competitive threat from MMDS while they get their HFC or FTTC house in order.

The management of CAWS must be complete idiots if they negotiated an agreement with BANX that allows this to happen without any recourse from CAWS! My God, I hope CAWS officers were not so damn stupid as to let this happen.
